GENERAL SCOPE AND CONTENTS:

Publications, manuscripts, dealing with archaeology, research and history of Cahokia Mounds, Mississippian Indian cultures elsewhere, and other research in Midwestern archaeology (technical and general): Indian crafts, plant and animal use; excavation and site maps (1900- ); slide and print library (1960- ); video library (1980- ); some microfilm of site records, correspondence, news clippings (1900- ). Note: library is currently being cataloged and reorganized in new facility, as are slides and prints.
