All materials are available for use at no charge. Reservations for materials should be made well in advance of the date needed and returned to the Holocaust Center as per the schedule arranged with the director or his assistant.

GENERAL SCOPE AND CONTENTS:
The St. Louis Center for Holocaust Studies collects material on allaspects of The Holocaust including history, biographies, moral andethical issues, and prejudice and anti Semitism. Holdings include audio visual materials (films, videotapes, audiotapes, filmstrips), printed materials (books, pamphlets, articles, curriculum materials), maps, charts, photographs, pictures, slides, and oral tape histories.
MAJOR COLLECTIONS:
- Oral Histories: 200+ items. Audio and video tapes containing individual autobiographies and descriptions of how The Holocaust touched the lives of survivors, liberators, children of survivors, and community leaders. Transcripts of some tapes are also available. The center is in the process of transcribing its entire collection.
