GENERAL SCOPE AND CONTENTS:
Materials relating to the activities of the Religious of the Sacred Heart, chiefly in the U.S., and foundations made from or related to the U.S. Provinces. Institutional records, personal papers, legal and financial records, records of lives and activities of Congregation members, and history of the Congregation's educational institutions are included. Some important records of the history of the Congregation worldwide are also held. Spans the years 1800 to present.

- Religious of the Sacred Heart, Minor Educational Institutions, (1821- ), ca. 5.8 cu. ft. Includes charters, contracts, registers, and minutes for the School for Potawatamie Indians operated in Kansas, (1841-1878).
- Internal Affairs of Congregation Worldwide, (1800- ), ca. 165 cu. ft. Some of these records are restricted.
