St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum

The mission of the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum is to use the history and lessons of the Holocaust to reject hatred, promote understanding, and inspire change. Through its collections, exhibits, and programs the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum Archives strives to educate all people about the history and consequences of the Holocaust, and the spiral that can lead from stereotypes, to hate crimes, discrimination, and at worst, genocide. The St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum Archives consists of two main repositories: the Holocaust Museum Collection and the St. Louis Jewish Community Archives. Materials collected include documents and artifacts that tell the history of the Holocaust, particularly from the point of view of survivors who settled in St. Louis, as well as documents and artifacts that are related to the religious, cultural, social, and family life of Jews in the greater St. Louis area.
